1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how auroraforecast.uk uses cookies and similar technologies to provide Premium Access and measure site performance.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use localStorage to keep premium tokens tied to your browser.

We currently use two categories:

Essential cookies: Session cookies and premium access tokens that keep you signed in and authorize purchased content. They are required for the site to function.
Performance cookies: Google Analytics 4 (`_ga`, `_ga_*`) to understand aggregated traffic. IP anonymization and EU data region are enabled.

Visitors in the EU/UK/EEA will see a consent banner before GA4 loads. Essential cookies are always active; performance cookies run only after opt-in.

If you clear cookies or use a new device you will need to set preferences again.

Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on if you prefer not to share data with GA4.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent Premium Access from working. Contact support@aurorame.com if you need help.

We will update this policy before adding new tools or changing retention periods.
